Your responsibilities

With our latest cutting edge algorithms in route planning and optimisation as well as an outstanding portfolio, PTV Logistics is redefining the world of logistics. To drive this forward, we are looking for a dynamic Account Executive (m/f/d) who is ready to set new standards with us. If you are a passionate sales professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced and goal-oriented environment, you could be the perfect candidate for our sales team and support us with the following tasks:
  • You acquire new and exciting customers ("New Logos") and drive the sales of our unique PTV Logistics portfolio.
  • Furthermore, you identify and convert leads, generate opportunities, and achieve business closures.
  • The development and implementation of value-oriented sales strategies is also part of your responsibilities.
  • Your excellent people skills help you build relationships and trust quickly with potential customers.
  • Additionally, you recognise prospects' needs, demonstrate solutions, and generate interest through compelling sales presentations.
  • You work closely with our Pre-Sales and technical teams to provide the customer with the best possible support throughout the entire sales process.
  • Reporting to the Sales Manager Logistics UK
  • Hybrid Field/Head Office (Birmingham)/Home Office working.
  • Finally, you are actively on-site with customers and representing PTV Logistics at trade shows as well as internal events.

Your profile

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive in the Logistics SaaS sector, preferably in Route Optimisation, ePod and TMS.
  • Strong customer acquisition skills and the ability to consistently meet sales targets.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent industry knowledge, competitive awareness, and a passion for success.
  • Self-Starter with entrepreneurial thinking, strategic planning capabilities, and proactive communication strength.
  • Experience with CRM and prospecting tools.


  • 37.5 Hours per week.
  • 30 days holiday plus all English Bank Holidays.
